Asherons Call: Quest Updates: Serpent's Fang, Basalt Blade and Obsidian Axe!

As has been previously mentioned, Ophelea has begun the process of updating our Quest Compendium entries for the various Creature Lords of Dereth to reflect the recent changes to Dereth's fauna. With the help of both the information submitted by our readership, and Optim Shi's Creature Mapper, she has recently completed updates to the Serpent's Fang, Obsidian Axe and the Basalt Blade!

The Serpent's Fang is a powerful acidic spear, carried by the serpentine Cold One, who can occasionally be found wandering the swamps of the western Direlands. The Basalt Blade and the Obsidian Axe are unusual, in that one is produced from the other - the Blade can be crafted into an Axe by one of Dereth's numerous Trophy Collectors. A perfect Basalt Blade can occasionally be fashioned from the corpse of a Basalt Golem, and is usable by those skilled in the ways of Unarmed Combat. Finding a Basalt Golem, and persuading him to part with a razor-sharp chunk of his body may prove tricky, however, but those adamant on making the attempt are advised to start their search upon the slopes of Mount Esper, in the north of Dereth.
