Yes, it's true. Medivh, with its legions of 00bar-gamers, has turned in all 3,850,000 materials required by the taskmasters of the Horde and Alliance. From Peacebloom and Copper Bars to Runecloth Bandages and Roast Raptor, the monumental task has been accomplished. In a scant few days, the Scarab Wall, sealed for a thousand years, will be open once more.
Well, at least on that one realm.
Blizzard has already locked character creation on Medivh and Mannoroth (#2 in the rankings, with 88% of resources turned in) in anticipation of a massive influx of players eager to watch the first opening of the Ahn'Qiraj gates. Seeing as how the two are already plagued with queues stretching into the quadruple digits already, that seems like a fairly good idea.
A big "congratulations" to the fine folk of Medivh for being the first to accomplish this gargantuan task, and good luck to all the rest of you out there in the World of Warcraft on the same!
