Oh the woes of buying 100 alembic only to find out you only ever need one! Ok so that was only us old timers *grins* but in the long years of Asheron's Call we've seen alchemy evolve, from simply grinding up looted gems to get your once precious casting powder, to deadly arrowheads, to health potions, to life magic gems.
But what does the future hold?
What about portal gems?
What if alchemy allowed you to make a gem for the two portals you are tied to, provided they can be summoned? What if alchemy allowed you to chip off a piece of your lifestone and make a giveable gem that which recalls someone else to it? What if alchemy allowed you to chip off a piece of your housing covenant stone and give that gem to a friend who can't make the treacherous run to your house?
What about a higher tier of arrowheads? At this time we have greater and deadly, and while you can't get much deadlier than deadly, lethal would do the job, adding one more step to the process, and commanding a higher alchemy skill, [and fletching and weapon skill to craft & use] yet also providing a higher damage output.
What about being able to infuse current purchased health kits with higher healing powers?
What do you think?
