NWN Stratics conducted an interview recently with lead designer Ferret Baudoin and lead artist, Tramell "T.Ray" Isaac. The discussion focuses on armor types and styles, combat animations and item proficiencies.

Will there be any new weapon animations for combat, and wielding/unwielding various weapons?

T.Ray: The animation list can only be described with one word, MASSIVE! We wanted to make the combat appear to be more natural. This in turn requires that we make an extraordinary number of animation assets. Hats off to the animators they've churned out some amazing work. The assets were all hand animated, no MOCAP. Sorry JRoot ;)
