Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach initially seems a lot like other massively multiplayer role-playing games. You get to create a custom fantasy character by choosing from a variety of races, classes, and appearances, and then you get dropped into an imaginative world filled with lots of danger, treasure, and little pop-up menus. However, it doesn't take long to see some of the ways in which it's refreshingly different from a lot of what's been done to date in other online RPGs.
