Some see me as crazy... "Me?" I ask. I see myself as maniacally adventurous.

Throughout the years in the Ark I have wondered what the outside is like, what it would look like, and to see this "sun" I have heard so many stories about from my parents. I was always a tomboy, the kind of girl who shunned the thought of make-up. All my friends are guys and they treat me as such.

Life underground in the Ark was simple enough; you get up after a resting cycle and you go to work, helping in whatever way you can. Mostly just research but on rare occasions there were some people who got out of line and ran when time came to fess up to their crimes. I was one of the few people lucky enough to have the exciting job of running them down and bringing them back, and I never failed either.

Along with my tomboyish appeal came an absurd and morbid sense of humor, finding laughs in just about everything that I saw... death, someone losing a parent or simply pulling a juvenile prank on a poor unsuspecting scientist as a great source of laughter. It was all you could do down there to kill time until it would finally be time for re-emergence.

My parents were researchers working on experimental weapons research on the lower floors of the Ark. The danger with the job was high but the pay was higher. One day an experiment went wrong and they perished in a room of corrosive acid when one of their weapon tests went awry. As I looked to my friends for support, I found none.

I don't have any idea how long it's been since that accident, nor do I care to remember. All that matters now is survival, now that we are back on the surface. I'll be rich soon...just you watch and see, I'll be the richest Bounty Hunter around!
