It seems like NetDevil really is out to make this the most enjoyable MMORPG I have seen! It seems the voice integrated chat will be involved in convoy's and very useful for pvp and missions.

an excerpt from the interview taken from the AA Home Page:

Q: If a clan has a voice client, like Teamspeak, how will this be different or better? Would the two programs work in concert?

Scott: The two programs should work together as long as you set your push-to-talk button to different buttons for the two programs. The disadvantage of any third-party voice tool is that it is peer to peer (which could cause security problems). Our voice solution works across the board because the network traffic comes from our servers, which you can assume to be safe. If you have Auto Assault and a headset, you can convoy and talk seamlessly with little fear of security issues.

Q: Do you anticipate any delays in voice that could circumvent quick combat-driven commands, orders, or cries for help? Would server lag be an issue if a person has a slower connection?

Scott: Lag is always a concern with any online product but I would imagine that there would be no difference in the lag of text communications compared to voice as all the data is coming from the same source. Of course, with all games, the better your connection the better your play experience. But that is something that isn't easily controlled. It has to do with all the service providers involved from customers' computers to our servers.
