Coming in with a "Fair," rating, GameSpy serves up their review of Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach.
That said, pen and paper D&D players (and, to a lesser extent, people who've played games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights may find themselves at home in D&D Online, especially when it comes to rules. Turbine has done a good job of incorporating the D20 system into an MMO that functions more or less in real-time. Most of the D&D standbys are there in terms of races and classes (though if you like druids, monks, half-elves, or gnomes, you're out of luck), and for the most part, all of their core abilities have been intuitively translated to fit into an online computer game. If you're not a D&D player, well, you'll have to spend a lot of time unraveling the game's lingo, and the fact that many of the game's tooltips and status windows have yet to be implemented will only exacerbate this.
