Star Wars Galaxies: Team Comments- Scott "Taurin" Snopel

Every other monday we enter the lives of a member of the SWG development team! This week we enter Scott "Taurin" Snopel's (QA tester) life.

Hi, I'm Scott Snopel and I'm a member of the internal QA team here in Austin, TX. Some of you may know my Zabrak, "Taurin" from the early beta 1 and beta 2 days. Back then I used to "work" the beta focus tests by greeting new testers, answering questions, and holding tutorial sessions on new systems. I work with Grant "Rogue5" McDaniel, and James "Vass" Whisenant, and our main job is to build new versions of the game, test them, get fixes for the problems we find, and then push it out to the public. Yes, I get to play SWG all day, every day. Lucky me, eh? Well I do feel extremely lucky that I'm taking part in something pretty special. What I foresee SWG becoming, beyond another great MMORPG, is a gateway for Star Wars fans to become a part of the Star Wars Universe. That factor alone makes me darn proud to be a part of it.
