The following email is a SCAM. The email address appears to be from us, but it is a spoof.

Dear Customer,

This is an automatic e-mail sent from DAoC Customer Support, please do not respond to it.

We must inform you that our new server engines have been causing problems to our Darkness Rising users. The submitted file is an important update for your game client so that your characters will be saved in our database when we get to change the new engine back to the previous one.

Only over the dead bodies of the entire customer support team would we EVER email you a file to update a game client to "save" your characters. Do not fall for this, and alert your gullible friends.
