Asherons Call: Regarding the "AC Upgrade" Rumor

Many of you have heard the rumor about an AC1.5 graphics update that was shown on G4TV last night. Well, regardless of what G4TV showed, the rumor has been debunked and srand has posted in our [A href="http://forums.warcry.com/read.php?f=52&i=225026&t=215268#225026" target="_blank"]AC Discussions[/a] forum regarding said rumor:

Someone was a bit confused, I'm afraid. There's been a lot of rumors lately, but I can categorically say that we are not at this time planning either an expansion pack or a major graphics engine overhaul. And no, we most certainly do not have an expansion pack in closed internal beta. *sigh*

This was posted on the ACVault boards regarind the same rumor:

So would the fact that there is no expansion pack or graphics upgrade in development. There is no NDA; there is no expansion pack; there is no graphics upgrade; and if we are revealing something at E3 it's a complete surprise to me. Forgive me if I sound frustrated -- but it is frustrating trying to tell people the simple truth when they don't believe you.

I'm not going to say any more on this topic.
