Now onto the videos . . .
Video 1 - Overview
This is just a simple pan around the evil keep. It's pretty, that's for sure.Video 2 - Raise/Lower Terrain
Simple raising and lowering terrain. Looks pretty straightforward. I noticed the process was fairly CPU intensive - the water ripples got chunky when it ran. You can also see which exterior tile you're working with, outlined as a green square. I also noticed that part of the green square turned yellow, though I'm not sure why.Video 3 - Textures
All about painting textures. It's interesting that every 40 m square "mega chunk" of tiles can only have six unique textures. This is probably a compromise between file sizes and design flexibility.Video 4 - Water
Painting water is done just like textures. It seems that the point you start painting from defines the water height.Video 5 - Water Height
This shows off raising the water level and repainting. Again, seems very simple. It's incredible to see things refract realistically under water. I also noticed that the water doesn't effect the light from the campfire while its under water. A minor quibble.Video 6 - Selecting Walls
The walls are clearly made of multiple placeables. You can also select certain types of objects, leaving the others alone. The evil keep seems to be a single large placeable.All-in-all, the toolset looks surprisingly easy to use. I keep drooling over how amazing the exteriors look. Outdoor modules are going to look incredible.
