In this thread on the Bioware forums, no less than Ferret Baudoin, former lead develooper of Neverwinter Nights, confirms that he is indeed now employed by Bioware and is working on Dragon Age as a senior designer.
This is indeed good news for the Dragon Age fans out there.
Chris Priestly added:
The DA team will be working Ferret like... well a ferret in a chicken coop (I heard that reference in an old Foghorn Leghorn cartoon and never thought it would have a real world application, who knew?) as the new guy.
Sure he's a talented senior designer and all that jazz, but around here, he's merely the "new meat" and still way down on the totem pole. Why, his work load is so intensive that he barely has time for breathing let alone forum posting. As "teh n00b" he has all sort of "hazing" rituals to get through before he does a lot of posting here. He has to wash and wax lead programmer Aaryn Flynn's fleet of luxury cars, he has to reblonde Producer Scott Grieg's hair, he has to wake David Gaider each hour to prevent drool accumulating in his keyboard and shorting it out and he has to change the litter up here in QA.
I'm sure you'll be seeing him from time to time as his workload lessens from "insane" level down to the more standard "buttload" level.
