Jaz, otherwise known as Admiral-H, JazH on other message boards, and Yhap on most MMOG's.

Where are you from?
The glorious lands of Lincolnshire, England.

How long have you been playing MMO's?
Ok, you caught me out! I've only really followed MMOG's closely since the launch of Star Wars: Galaxies, perhaps two or three years now. Admittedly, I've had a brief stint at EverQuest I & II and Lineage II.

When did you join the Gods & Heroes community?
The day Star Trek: Online was announced! Seriously, I've been on forum since day one.

How did you find out about Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising?
I've been following Gods & Heroes, or at least an unnamed title by Perpetual Entertainment since the Star Trek: Online scoop. I had heard of an unknown ancient historical game well before the official announcement of GnH in 2005, and as a fan of Star Trek gaming I've become obsessed with everything Perpetual Entertainment. As an editor of a Star Trek gaming site (STGU.com) it's my duty to follow game developments. In a general sense, Rome is exciting, the recent series about Rome by HBO/BBC holds the key to a lifestyle similar to our own today. I'm far more excited about GnH than STO now, GnH is shaping out to be my dream game. I hope it can deliver.

What class will you be and why?
It's always easy to pick the popular melee choices, gladiator and soldier. Personally, I think there's no point being the same as everyone else. In most MMOGs I have played, my usual avatar is a damage caster. No longer! I'm going to give something back to the community by becoming a priest!

What god will your avatar follow?
Pluto or Juno! There really isn't enough information about them [to choose]!

What excites you about Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising the most?
The squad system just strikes me as revolutionary. I've been fantasizing about various formations and glorious battles around the walls of Rome for a while now; PvP is one aspect of the game that could become strategically in the future.

There isn't much information about the questing system, but the epic god quests sound compellingly story driven. I really wouldn't mind if the quests took days to complete, so long as the story is written by a talent similar to Charles Dickens.

What other MMO's are you playing?
I'm currently playing World of Warcraft and grinding out the long journey to "endgame". So in fact, you can call me a "n00b" in WoW terms. I'm currently playing on a new normal European server.

What non-MMO games are you playing?
Counter Strike: Source, Star Wars: Empire at War are the two hot picks at the moment, the addiction factor for these two games are simply too much at the moment. I've been installing the odd Star Trek game too, classic games seem to be more fun.

What is your favorite game of all time?
A favourite game! What a ludicrous question! There are so many genres and play styles that it's almost like comparing apples with oranges nowadays. However, I'd have to say that the Sim City series by Maxis is the number one game for me. It was the first PC game alongside the thrilling Theme Hospital that I got addicted too (Am I the only one?). The latest addition, Sim City 4, is unfortunately not so much my favourite, not that it's a bad game... But the loading times of a metropolis city can become extreme on this low-spec pc!

If you could choose between having Jupiter's powers and a fighting, talking, ninja monkey, which would you pick, and why?
The ninja monkey. My choice follows logic, the ninja talks, Jupiter does not, and at least I'll have a companion in the game if no one else communicated with me.

Anything else you want to share with the Gods & Heroes community?
I'm greatly looking forward to this game, I hope you are too! Just be nice to newbies, we want our community to grow and be constructive, don't flame them for asking for a release date or price!
