Neverwinter Nights 2: Gaming Trend AKoN Preview

Editors at Gaming Trend had a chance to sit down with NWN 2 developers at the recent AKoN conference. They've posted their impressions here.

Finally, one interesting new feature that will make custom worlds and persistant servers more interesting is the use of HAK packs which can be loaded before character generation. If someone wants to make a Conan/Hyborean Ages server, they don't have to make a script that checks to see that you are human and non-casting class. They can build a HAK pack with these limits built in, making the character generation process much simpler for everyone.
