How did you pick your nickname?
Back during Shadowbane when I was still searching for my digital self (lol) I was running a search on Greek names and Corydon came up as "Battle Ready" It was a short simple name I haven't seen used and a legend was born =P

So, you battle ready beast, where do you live?
Right now I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan (west side of Michigan close to the Lake) but I also lived in Detroit, Norfolk Virginia, Naval RTC in Illinois for a year, and onboard USS Anzio for about 2 years.

So you've had plenty of time for games! How long have you been playing MMO's?
March 25, 2003 The date Shadowbane came out. I got out of work early and picked up my copy and I was hooked! Since then I put some serious time into SWG when it came out and helped build a Guild from the ground up, and I've dabbled in WoW and EQ2.

So when did you join the Gods & Heroes community?
Wow I never noticed it before but I joined on the Ides of March! *eerie foreshadowing music plays in the background*

Oooo! Beware the Ides of March! So now how did you find out about Gods & Heroes?
From MMORPG.COM when I used to visit there about everyday. I was looking at the "other Roman game" and wasn't impressed. Then I saw the news story on this, checked out the website, and I was hooked!

Yeah, it's not hard to get hooked on the awesomeness that is Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising and that's okay! In light of your new addiction, what class will you be and why?
Well anyone who has read the fan fiction knows Corydon will be a Priest. I mainly play Hybrid and Support classes and Priests in this game really jumped out at me for their fan fiction value as well as I imagined their in game play will be.

What god will your avatar follow?
Juno of course! Defender of the Republic, wife of the King of the Gods (which you know that means she runs everything of course), and her symbol is that of a peacock! Who else would you follow?!

What excites you about Gods & Heroes the most?
Another easy question, squad based combat. I think this excites both PvE'ers, PvP'ers and everyone else in between.

What other MMO's are you playing?
At the moment I'm not playing any. Nothing can stand up to the excitement I have for Gods & Heroes hence nothing is playable to me.

What non MMO games are you playing?
I play a lot of Warhammer: Dawn of War online with real life friends. I'll include non-electronic games since that is where most of my time is right now. I play Warhammer 40k tabletop every week (I play Necrons for those GW fans out there) and GM a RP campaign based in a Fantasy world of Saints of the Light (Good) vs Demons and their underlings. It's a world my friends and I have built from the ground up running the GURPs system and it's a lot of fun.

What is your favorite game of all time?
Ultima 7 hands down. While the first Final Fantasy for the NES got me into RPGs Ultima 7 was the first real "open world" I played in and it caught me hook line and sinker. In loved just exploring the world, meeting the characters, and tracking down leads for the main quest. After some time I had to order the Guide book but it was on back order but I still played the game a ton. Once I got the Guide it was insanely easy how to beat the game but it had never really occurred to me. One thing that really sticks out from that game was a bandit cave I found one time. In the cave was a scroll about how they planned to attack Lord British at night. If you went to the top of his castle at night you could find the bandits and kill them. During the day they were not there. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

I often question the god's great powers, and one of the questions I ask myself is, which god could wail the hardest on the guitar? I mean, think about it, it's pretty much a fact that Mars would some serious face meltage on with his mad grindage, what do you think?
Your right in that Mars could probably play the hardest (a la Kurt Cobain and many smashed guitars) but as far as getting the best wail I gotta go with Mercury. Being the fastest of the Gods I bet he could hammer out some great tunes without calling down a rain of spears on his guitar

That's a good answer! I hadn't thought of that, still, I think it would be close in a god "battle of the bands!" Is there anything else you want to share with the Gods & Heroes community?
This is the best community I have seen since I started playing, not as long as some of you Vets out there but I've put some time in. Everyone has a level head, the Dev interaction is great, and people posting know they could make a difference in the game. I just want to thank everyone at PE for their effort into building a solid community and everyone in the community for being so mature and great. I just hope to stick around and help in any way I can.
