Everyone,

I apologize for the authentication problems we've had lately. We do have people working on it through the weekend. We tried multiple fixes over the course of the day yesterday and had 20 people in an emergency meeting last night coming up with a strategy to try and fix this problem and we're still on the case now.

I'd like to ask those of you who have been experiencing problems with logging in to report here exactly what problems you've been having, and how you went about trying to log in. The following information would be extremely useful to people trying to track the problems:

1. Did you use a world-specific launcher or the generic launcher?

2. How many times did you try to log in?

3. How many seconds or minutes between attempts?

4. At what stage in the login process (password authentication, patching, etc) did your error occur?
