Asherons Call: QotD - What Makes Armor Useful? Or, More Useful?

Is it the AL? Creature Spells? Life Spells? Cantrips?

Is matching important? Does it need to fit the "style" of your character?

And if you wanted to improve the armor you have, what would you do?

Me, I have Covenant. I'm not sure IF there's anything I would do...I've tinkered down the weight, I have critte spells. I guess I'd like more life cantrips.

What would help you? And should it be QUEST armor?
