Where in the real life world do you live? Boise , Idaho

How long have you played Star Wars: Galaxies? Since September, 2002.

What other MMOs have you played? WoW, Eve, EQ, Dark Ages of Camelot.

What type of work do you do? I work with teen-age addicts. I am studying to get my certification in counseling.

How long is your typical gaming session when playing Star Wars: Galaxies? 2 or more hours depending on whether I am role-playing or grinding (craft grind = sleep pill for sure)

What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you? I log on, say hello to my real life friends, check my mail, and look to see if anything fun is happening in the role-play community. Then I participate in the role-play if I can. If not, I work on ideas for events with friends, decorate houses, craft, and/or if I'm in the mood to kill, I hunt down imperials in space or on the ground.

What was the race and profession of your very first character? Twi'lek. I started as carbineer, bio-engineer, and creature handler mix. That was back in the days when bio-engineering was tough and creatures were meaner. I remember running around with three greater sludge panthers.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most? I have always been a role-player since I was a teenager and a computer gamer since I played my first Atari pong game.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing Star Wars Galaxies ? I enjoy outdoor activities such as bicycling, swimming, camping, hunting, and fishing.

What is your highest level in Star Wars: Galaxies? I was 80, but I re-rolled Raylyyn for new characters and new role-play, so now my highest is Zackar' at 14.

What race and profession is your main character? Zackar is a Zabrack Domestics trader and Zackar' is a Jedi. They are for RP purposes the same person.

What do you like the most about the profession you have chosen for your main character? I love crafting things for people and helping them out. Since in the role-play community, clothing is a must for when you are tired of wearing smelly armor, I chose domestics. Plus, food is still some what useful (prays for the trader revamps to come sooner). I chose Jedi because I wanted to be a force sensitive person in role-play. I hate light sabers but force lightning is just cool.

What faction is your main character? Rebel. I know all those who knew me as the hard core imperial ISB director pre NGE are having heart attacks now.

What is your favorite player owned ship ? I love the bombers. Anyone can fly a Jedi Star Fighter or an advanced X-wing and be halfway decent in Space PvP,but, to score kills in a Bomber takes real skill.

What is your favorite ground vehicle? /cries over the loss of his barc speeder. I forgot to trade it to a friend before re-rolling.

How did you choose your main character's name? Raylyyn has always been my name in every game I play. Sedai is because I love the meaning of it from the books (Servant). When I re-rolled Raylyyn Sedai because his story was not playable under the new game system, I went out on a limb and made Zack. However, Zack was taken so I added the "ar." Which is were Zackar came from.

Which professions in Star Wars: Galaxies have you NOT played? Pre NGE, I played them all but Jedi; I was not far enough along to earn elder Jedi status. Post NGE, I've played a trader, Smuggler, Spy and Jedi

What is your favorite expansion? Jump to Lightspeed

What is your favorite zone? My favorite planet has always been Talus. I love the place. From way back when Renraku had the Arcology there and I took my first in-game sweetheart, Micajast, hunting to help her master smuggler and carbineer...to more recently when Stars End was there. I role-play there constantly.

What is your favorite npc? I love Tuskens and hate Jawas. Raylyyn had -5k Jawa faction and could count on Tuskens to help him take out anything if they were near by.

Which expansion do you like the least? Trials of Obi

Which zone do you like the least? Mustafar

Which npc do you like the least? Jawas... but after them, the bartenders in the cantinas. They sell junk for drinks and never give you any good information.

What is the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters? That is hard to say. Mostly, I only bought resources. It would have to be one of the player-made ships but, I cannot remember how much I paid for it. One of the nice things about being a role-player is half the time you do not buy anything. 9 out of 10 times it's given to you or sold at cost.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it? No. I am not into things that much, I guess. If I had thought about it, it would have been the slave collar from when I first completed the Nightsister theme park without being a master of any profession.

What do you like best about Star Wars: Galaxies? The people. I returned after a few months away because there is no community (role-play or otherwise) like Valcyn.

What do you get out of playing Star Wars: Galaxies? I enjoy the role-play and stories that I can be a part of. I really enjoy player content and how I can work with Pex to create content for others to enjoy.

Describe your best experience from playing Star Wars: Galaxies? Wow, there are so many to choose from. Let's see... I think the highlight of my entire game time would have to be when I had Surgery on board my decimator. It was a very pivotal role-play storyline in my first characters life. Everyone involved had a blast.

Do you run or work for a Star Wars: Galaxies Fan Site? (If so provide the web address too !) It is not a fan site but, at valcynasylum.com, I am a moderator. It is just a forum for the role-play community on Valcyn and a lot of the people who left after NGE are members and still stay in touch there.
