I know this is a topic of long discussion, many people have been asking for loot generated robes for a very long time.
Some hope for the possibility of robes with armor levels, and now that there are quest robes with armor levels, that's not out of the realm of possibility.
Some yearn for loot generated robes for the fashion side of life. To get that rare color combination, regardless of the use of the robe, has been often dreamt about.
