Asherons Call: Faulkon's "The War of Unity" Continues!

The second chapter of "The War of Unity", penned by Faulkon of Wintersebb, has been posted in our Stories & Art section!

"If there is anything I've learned, it's that humans have the capability to govern their own, should the need arise. Elysa rose to the challenge, as did Borelean. Their allies are capable of the same," Asheron added, looking at the giant and the Tumerok at the table. "That includes being able to choose your new leader. You five must concoct a method to choose a new leader amongst yourselves."

An Isparian woman at the table stood up immediately and said, "Well, I think the choice is obvious! Whoever has the most followers should rule! It's the best way to guarantee loyalty."

Now, an Isparian man arose in argument, saying, "You only say that, Rose, because you have the most vassals of us all! I say a tournament! That's certainly a good way..."

"...to prove nothing," interrupted the other man present. "If we are to choose the best leader, how would a contest of battle skill prove anyone's leadership?"
