Next-Gen has a piece up on Vivendi's most recent financial report, citing a 24% increase in earnings on the first half of this year over last year during the same period. Earnings primarily driven from Blizzard's World of Warcraft.

And for Vivendi overall, which includes their music divisions, they went up 5% to $12.3 Billion for the first half of the year. Now they can finally fund their dreams of a Chia-Pet MMO without worrying about the potential loss.
