Review: Matrix Reloaded

This year so far there exist two movies you "must" go to see to keep from being ridiculed by your peers. Both are sequels and both cover entirely different stories. Matrix Reloaded expands on the first of the 3 movie series (The third series this November) and if you're not the type to tie your shoes on tight you're likely to lose them along with your socks.

The movies started out with Trinity as usual in her umm nice latex garb. It's a tossup for sexiest movie character this year though Arwen could still take that title if... umm well that'll never happen in LOTR III it's just not in the story.

So what to tell you about the movie that wont give too much away. If you've seen any of the trailers they definitely don't have anything on the action you'll receive during the movie. You want a high speed car chase? How about one that's 15 minutes long with some of the sweetest special effects you've ever seen. Not only are the effects like the original but also they're implemented in ways that I'm still trying to decipher how they did them.

They definitely take you to the next level in computer generated fight scenes where it's hard to tell when NEO is fighting or a computer simulation of him is doing all the heavy work. And everyone's favorite Agent Smith is back with a totally new twist.

In Matrix Reloaded you'll be treated to a ton of story and plot surprises that will change the way you thought the story was about and you'll definitely wonder how things will be in the third movie this fall when it comes out.
