MSNBC has posted an article about G4, the cable channel that's "TV for Gamers". This channel was launched by Comcast just over a year ago, and has enjoyed great success thus far.

Executives at the nation's largest cable company are banking on the booming popularity of video gaming, which boasts game sales of $10 billion a year and has spawned several magazines. Several titles have migrated from the small screen to the big, inspiring such movies as "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Final Fantasy."

Well, DUH. How many ESPN channels are there again? It's about time we gamers got some attention as the legitimate consumers we are! *waves money*
