One major change is that the Eighth House are now getting more actively involved in protecting the settlers starting out on Nespanona. Empires starting in a new game are now given protection for a number of hours, to help keep those bandits at bay.
In addition to protection by the Eighth House Enforcer, the July release has enhancements to various areas of the game:
· Gate codes now appear in their own message window, ending the frustration of codes scrolling off the status window.
· Colonisers will attempt to claim an un-owned island if you instruct them to colonise, and scouts will attempt to claim an un-owned island if told to build an outpost there.
· Storage silos now manage their resources better and prevent the situation where a quantum silo is full, and all the other silos are empty.
· Various menu and interface tidies including the Battle platform construction menu no longer closing when a component has been selected.
· New filters added to Empire View including one for finding artilleries not auto-gathering stone.
