Video games have been getting a lot of attention lately, and they should. Itīs high time for parents to be attentive to what their kids are doing, not only in "real life" but now also in "virtual life," but the options will be getting better!

Despite a lot of negative media around violence in games, the founder of "Cosmic Origins Studios" plans to harness the power of gaming technology to recreate the American Frontier West.

Itīs called "Frontier 1859" and we are seeing a first in gaming history, as some native Americans join the forum this week and reveal secrets and language about their culture.

Daniel McMillan thinks so! This is just a glimpse into how the power of game technology can be harnessed to bring people from around the world together in a virtual re-creation of the Frontier west. Games are already in the household, and that makes them the tool of choice for fun learning. We are seeing alot more of the public who has reached a point where they are no longer pacified with mere escapism.
