New editor for UK's fastest riser<sup>1</sup>Brown takes helm on Official Xbox Magazine
02/10/03 - FXM International Ltd, a subsidiary of The Future Network plc, is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen Brown to editor of its market-leading Official Xbox Magazine.
Brown has been promoted from deputy editor after successfully heading up the magazine for two issues as acting editor.
Prior to joining the Official Xbox Magazine, Brown held a number of roles on various specialist games magazines including a considerable stint as associate editor of top-seller, PC Gamer magazine.
In his new role as editor of the UK's fastest growing monthly consumer magazine1, Brown reports directly to publisher, James Ashton-Tyler. Commenting on Brown's promotion, Ashton-Tyler, says:
"As a long-time key member of the PC Gamer team, Stephen has great experience working on market-leading games magazines.
"Stephen's skills will ensure that Official Xbox Magazine builds on the record circulation growth shown over the past year, that it continues to evolve and improve its editorial offering and that Official Xbox Magazine remains at the centre of what looks set to be the fastest-growing console market in 2004."
Stephen takes over from Max Everingham, who left Official Xbox Magazine to join videogames developer and publisher, Codemasters.
