Mobile Gaming Leader Makes North American Entrance

Hamburg/Wedel, Germany - October 14, 2003 - elkware Inc., German developer and publisher of such international hits as 1503 A.D. - The New World and Gem Jam, has announced the establishment of a subsidiary in the United States. Located in downtown New York, co-founder Nils Weitemeyer and U.S. Managing Director Dirk Nagel will lead and supervise the company's expansion into North America.

The establishment of a dedicated North American headquarters will allow elkware to focus on offering the most exciting mobile games possible to the American market.
