Asherons Call: The Defense of Tufa

Eric the Grey of Thistledown submitted a wonderful story that takes place during the shadow era. The destruction of Tufa is something I don't think I'll ever forget.

The warning signs were there for all to read. The spires, drifting slowly towards the oasis. They were nearer every day, and it was only a matter of time before they arrived.

Many had stationed themselves at the oasis. Binding their life forces to the lifestone, or tying to the Meeting Hall portal so they could recall to the town quickly. This night, however, it was quiet, with only the normal desert sounds in the background...
