CONTEST! Dark Horizons Character Creation

Ever feel like your voice is never heard, your input never taken seriously, your fantastic ideas overlooked -- just because you're a FAN?!?! Well, worry no more, my friend, because your pals here at Warcry, along with more super-friendly guys over at Max Gaming Technologies, are giving you a chance to do what you've always wanted.

That's right, kids: All you have to is write up a character submission for the world of Dark Horizons. If it's good enough, it'll be incorporated into the actual game universe, and, more importantly, you'll get credited! Yes, you heard me correctly: You get your name in lights (well, rendered lights) and written in the sourcebooks for the role playing game.

All you have to do to become part of the game world is submit a character story and background. Here's an example of what we're hoping to see:

Biography

Jonathan Williams was born in Berlin, Germany on 8/16/2165 to Major Andrew Williams of the AFFS Army and Elizabeth Conard. Andrew Williams was captured on 1/3/2165 in the war of 2160 and executed by Eastern Confederation military in 2/10/2165. Surviving family members include Mrs. Williams, her oldest son Alexander and youngest, Jonathan Williams. On 8/21/2182, Jonathan failed to appear for his mandatory term in the AFFS, having not appeared by his 19th birthday, Jonathan was found guilty of Desertion-Failure to Appear and a warrant for his arrest was issued on 8/21/2183. When police officials attempted to serve the warrant on Jonathan Williams at his home in Berlin it was discovered that he was no longer residing at that address. Upon further investigation it was uncovered that Mr. Williams had refused the mandatory term in the AFFS, stating that he blamed the lack of effort on behalf of the AFFS for the death of his father.

Intelligence

It is believed that Jonathan Williams was last seen in the country of Finland, possibly operating an underground smuggling ring between the Eastern Confederation and Federated States. Latest intelligence on Jonathan Williams shows that his appearance has not changed, however he does operate under the alias of Andrew Thompson He is to be considered dangerous and a threat to the security of the Federated States.[b]Here are the details of the contest to which you'll need to pay attention:

[li]The contest is subject to end early without advance notification, or being extended depending on the amount of quality entries submitted.
