FemDevs #5: The Chain Mail Bikini

Any discussion of women in MMOGs will eventually get around to "chainmail bikinis". This is my key phrase for the standard representation of women in apparel that's well suited toward exhibiting their assets (no pun intended), and very little else. This isn't a new thing, as fantasy artwork has been displaying as much since the book covers of Boris Vallejo and even earlier with the pulp science fiction covers of such magazines as Amazing Stories.
