Butterfly.net Raises $10m to Expand Online Video Game Grid

MARTINSBURG, W. VA, March 22, 2004-Butterfly.net, an infrastructure technology provider for immersive, high-performance online games , announced today the closing of a $10M investment from an array of top-tier global venture firms and network-infrastructure leader Cisco Systems. The Series C round, co-led by JVP and Worldview Technology Partners, included participation from Cisco, Copan and previous investors Adena Ventures and Walker Ventures. With this financing round, Allon Bloch, Colin Savage and Spencer Hyman will be joining Butterfly.net's Board of Directors.
