Syracuse University's Kris Burgos Takes Home the National Championship at the Xbox Live Hoop Madness 2 Tournament

Tournament champion wins $1,000 cash prize and $2500 scholarship

SAN ANTONIO - April 2, 2004 - In the country's largest and most competitive on-line college basketball tournament, Kris Burgos, a sophomore from Syracuse University, defeated the nation's top "ESPN College Hoops" gamers to win the "Xbox Live Hoop Madness 2 Tournament." Jay Williams, former NCAA Superstar and Duke alum, was on hand as Burgos cut down the virtual nets as the tournament champion.
