Microsoft to Crown Online Racing World Champion at NASCAR's Coca Cola 600
Auto enthusiasts, racing fans and gamers from around the world have been issued the challenge to "put the pedal to the metal" in an all-out online battle for racing supremacy. Microsoft today announced Project Gotham Racing® 2's first-ever international Xbox Live™ online video game tournament. Sponsored by Target, the tournament - which runs from April 17 - May 17, 2004 - will pit the best online racing gamers from three regions against one another in an intercontinental competition of the best-selling, critically acclaimed Xbox® video game, Project Gotham Racing 2.
