Asherons Call: Clarification on the AC2 Picture

Well Keth the Lore Nerd seemed almost convinced that the shot we saw earlier today was of an adolescent Gromnatross. Seems Keth should be called Keth the Stoopid, because Stormwaltz clarified a bit:

The eyes aren't lavender or glowing, the wings aren't manta-shaped, and the legs, um... lots of things have legs. ^_^ (It's also missing the Gromnatross' eel-like bioluminescent tail.)

I can't say more than that, aside to mention that because of these very morphology discrepancies, I quickly made it clear within the office that the beast should never be considered a gromnatross.

So it ain't a Gromnatross, or in the family of Gromnies, so the label of "Unirex" sticks for now.

If you are wondering, "Hey Keth, you Stoopid Lore Nerd, what is a Gromnatross?" you should do a search through our Ancient Texts for the word to see where it is used. Essentially though, it was an extremely large reptilian creature of amazing intelligence and beauty, revered by the Yalain. They considered it holy and would sometimes even seek a blessing from one. One Gromnatross once nested on Aerlinthe, and if you explore the mountains above the Foundry you'll come across its aerie. The thing to remember is it isn't a dragon! There are no dragons (or elves) in AC!
