Sammy Studios has released a brand new "Spy Fiction" video trailer, the first look at the North American version of the game. The trailer highlights the upgrades U.S. gamers can expect, including new graphics and dynamic lighting, new game play elements such as improved A.I. and level redesign, and a new gadget that takes the game's identity theft system to another level. Exclusively for the PlayStation 2, "Spy Fiction" combines white hot action with the cold thrill of stealth, and delivers a storyline derived from genre-defining espionage films for an intense experience that will bring stealth-action gamers out of the shadows.
Follow the trail of Billy Bishop and Sheila Crawford, phantom operatives in the S.E.A. intelligence agency. To protect the free world from a devastating biotech weapon, they must infiltrate a global terrorist organization. With an arsenal of firepower and an array of spy tools, including the revolutionary ability to assume the identity of any character in the game, "Spy Fiction" gives players the freedom to bluff or shoot their way out of tight situations.
"Spy Fiction" features innovative game play, with its mix of action, stealth and action-oriented mini-games, as well as multiple ways to complete missions. The game also boasts character design by famed illustrator Renji Murata ("The Last Exile"). "Spy Fiction" is slated for release September 2004 and is not yet rated.
