Star Wars Galaxies: Post E3

| 20 May 2003 01:10

Q-3P0 stopped by the boards today and told us a bit about his E3 2003 experiance. Heres a bit from his post

We did end up showing on the floor after all. Well, sort of. We showed on a computer at the nVidia booth. It wasn't well advertised but we did get a lot of people stopping by to gawk.

As for me, I think I'm recovered. Too many demos and too much walking. There were some cool things to see at the show. Half Life 2 tech demo was very nice. I got a kick out of seeing Toontown Cogs wandering the show floor. Being an Age of Mythology junkie, it was fun to play around with their coming expansion pack. The highlight for me was meeting up with about 25 beta testers in a local food court for lunch. It wasn't an official event, just a chance for some fans to get together to talk. Holocron, Boshek and I talked with them for about an hour. It great to see a small portion of the community out of game. Eventually we'll likely host player fan festivals.

The devs snuck out to this lunch as our press team was at the SWG booth. Sneeky devs :P. To read the full post, click here! And don't forget to reply to our post on the boards!
