LOS ANGELES - Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) Booth #800 - May 12, 2004 - Konami Digital Entertainment - America, a division of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today revealed that a sequel in the hit Frogger franchise is being developed for the upcoming handheld systems, SCEA's PSP[sup][span style="font-size:6pt"]TM[/span][/sup] and Nintendo[sup][span style="font-size:7pt"]®[/span][/sup] DS, as well as next-generation consoles, PlayStation[sup][span style="font-size:7pt"]®[/span][/sup] 2 computer entertainment system and Nintendo GameCube[sup][span style="font-size:6pt"]TM[/span][/sup]. Taking the classic "hop-n-dodge" gameplay to new heights, the games will feature innovative gameplay, new characters, and dynamic environments, with more levels than previous games in the popular franchise.
