A Visit to the NVidia Booth at E3

| 12 May 2004 23:59

I had heard many things about the GeForce 6800 graphics card, and was very impressed, so I made a point to drop by their booth. I didn't have a map, so I just wandered around the ground floor, looking for the familiar green and white logo. I didn't have to look for very long because their "booth" was actually a very large corner of the main floor, and was easily identifiable because of the totally green, illuminated walls. I wandered in, and was instantly barraged with a large number of flat-panel monitors, each displaying jaw-dropping graphical images. A mermaid was swimming bye one monitor, adjacent to some action shots of many new and upcoming games including Farcry, EQ2, and Battle for Middle Earth.
