Doom 3 E3 Preview

When I heard that I was going to be meeting with Activision, the first game that popped into my mind was Doom III. This is to be expected since new graphics engines make me more excited than a chipmunk on crack. You can imagine my excitement when I saw the exhibit for Doom III. The exhibit consisted of a large round tank looking structure that was totally closed off to the public eye. While very cool looking, I was quite alarmed that there were no screens showing game-play to be found. When I frantically asked my Activision public relations friend why I could not see the game in action, he responded with a calm, "Do you want to play it?"
