It was a long time ago. Remember when someone said the words 'Role Playing Games', and people envisioned a whole lot of paper, stacks of books, and bags full of oddly colored geometric die? It's been ten years since Magic: The Gathering quietly started appearing in bookstores and role-playing basements across the nation, and seemingly over-night, it took the world by storm. Six million players later, it cannot be argued that Magic is one of the most successful games of the 21st century, and despite their resent release of Magic Online, an electronic version of the wildly successful card game, Wizards of the Coast is the last group I expected to find nesting inside West Hall at of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
