DAY 1 STUDIOS ANNOUNCES JON KIMMICH AS COMPANY’S NEW PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Chicago, IL, (July 7, 2004) Day 1 Studios, creators of MechAssault® and MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf for the Xbox, today announced that Jon Kimmich has joined the company as Producer and Director of Business Development. Kimmich's 15+ years spent at Microsoft Game Studios (MGS) have given him a deep understanding of both the creative and business sides of game development. At Day 1, one of Kimmich's first and key responsibilities will be to leverage his proven track record in selecting and cultivating successful game franchises to lead a Day 1 development team in the creation of a next generation console title.
