THE MISSION UNFOLDS: NAMCO RELEASES INTRO MOVIE FOR ACE COMBAT 5

San Jose, Ca., (July 9, 2004) - Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. released today the intro movie for ACE COMBAT5, the company's highly anticipated continuation of its million-unit selling Ace Combat franchise. The movie introduces some of the game's main characters, including a no nonsense squadron leader, an observant journalist and a brave female trainee. It also reveals the game's intriguing storyline and thrilling mission yet to come, in which players assume the role of a male fighter pilot called into action with a new squadron to protect the nation of Osea and defend the hostile skies. Additionally, the movie's opening sequence recognizes key contributors from Namco Limited, the game's development team in Japan. Exclusively for the Sony PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, ACE COMBAT 5 will soar to new heights in Fall 2004.
