EA Announces The Sims 2 Special Limited Edition DVD Available Through Pre-Order Sale

DVD Includes Full Version of the PC Game Plus Exciting Bonus Content Including Expert Tips and Film Making 101

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2004--Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS), today announced that it will release a special limited edition DVD for the highly anticipated The Sims[sup]™[/sup] 2. The game is the next generation sequel of The Sims[sup]™[/sup], the best selling PC game of all time and will be in stores by September 17th. This is the first DVD release in the highly successful The Sims franchise and initially will only be available through pre-orders at major retailers. This DVD will be available in North America only at the same price as the CD-ROM version.
