Okay, who remembers those little slot car things you had as a kid? The plastic tracks with two grooves in 'em, I mean. You made the track yourself and threw in all sorts of hazards and perils such as jumps, then raced with a buddy. You had a simple controller, with just one thing - an accelerator. If you took a turn too fast, you flew off the track and lost. It was simple, but, oh, so fun!
