imageWhen was the last time we as gamers truly felt that the massive multiplayer games we were playing were particularly edgy or risky? Perhaps this isn't something that the masses of gamers who partake in online gaming really think about. However, this topic found its way into a panel discussion at the Austin Game Conference on Friday, September 10th. Led by Chief Creative Office for Sony Online Entertainment, Raph Koster, the panel of industry professionals included game designer Patricia Pizer, VP of Development and Executive Producer for Mythic Entertainment, Matt Firor and Wolfpack Lead Designer Damion Schubert. Speaking to their peers in the game development community, this panel's task was to provide insight to their peers in the game development community on the "Design Risks We Should Be Taking."
