Star Wars Galaxies: SWG Console Version Put on Hold

According to this article on GameSpot Star Wars Galaxies has been put on hold indefinately so the team can completely focus on the PC Launch of the game. It appears that maybe there's pressure to get the game out the door by this summer and possibly in the last week of June timeframe.

Could this be due to rumors that World of Warcraft may go into early beta phases at the end of the summer and SOE wants to hook as many people as possible before that happens? I'm not sure either but it can create some interesting gossip. If you head over to the official webpages for SWG you'll notice that the pages for the Xbox and Playstation 2 versions of the game have been removed also.
