Like Watching A Pair of Ugly Old Men Fight - SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom XBox Review

2D arcade brawlers have always been some of my favorite quarter eaters, from Street Fighter 2 Alpha Turbo to Samurai Showdown 3; I've enjoyed their simplistic approach to a fighting genre that is getting more and more convoluted with button-mashing combos, frantic counters, and crazy 3D roll attacks. SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom, which was developed by SNK, had me licking my chops for a flurry of fireball-flinging action, but I was sorely disappointed. And with the arrival of another recent addition to the 2D fighter genre, Guilty Gear Isuka, SVC Chaos resembles some dirty old bum, barely making do with his rotten false teeth and some spare change.
