Striving to revive a tiring and long-lived series like Dynasty Warriors, Koei delivers Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires. With each game so similar you might wonder, "What makes Empires any different or better from the other Dynasty Warriors game?" Not all that much. Sticking to the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" mentality, Koei still manages to put enough spin on their time-tested system to keep fans happy and still entice new players. The final result is a game that is familiar enough to avoid a steep learning curve, yet just as addictive as the other games in the series.
