Battling the German War Machine - Blitzkrieg: Rolling Thunder Review
|
I know, I know. You're thinking, "Another World War II game?" My thoughts were very similar when I was asked to review Blitzkrieg: Rolling Thunder, a real-time strategy game developed by Nival Interactive and published by CDV Software. Nival, when creating this game, seemed to hold to the notion that, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." As the second stand-alone expansion for the CDV's original game, Blitzkrieg (first expansion was Burning Horizon), Rolling Thunder does little to diverge from the original's recipe of intense RTS combat and gameplay. It also doesn't advance the original game's graphics engine or interface either, but it does give fans of the series a numerous collection of new missions.
